Join the Bridgewater Sinfonia in a special concert celebrating our 20th anniversary!
The Bridgewater Sinfonia is Berkhamsted’s own local orchestra. Formed of local professional musicians, the orchestra has been enriching the cultural life of Hertfordshire since 1997. This season, Bridgewater Sinfonia celebrates 20 years of live performance in Berkhamsted.
Bach, Elgar and Schubert
As part of St Peter's Oktoberfest, we celebrate with a programme of European music, including Elgar's orchestral arrangement of Bach's Fantasia and Fugue in C minor, Schubert's "Tragic" Symphony and Lekeu's Adagio for strings. The evening culminates in a performance of Elgar's Enigma Variations, which includes that Great British classic, Nimrod.

We are also greatly honoured to welcome the internationally renowned pianist Yuki Kondo for Rachmaninoff’s dazzling Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini.
