The Bridgewater Sinfonia is delighted to announce its 2024/25 season, promising a varied series of symphonic concerts right here on our doorstep in Berkhamsted
As always our programmes feature excellent young soloists, and cover a wide spectrum of styles and periods, sharing with the audience the great classics as well as less familiar and more modern works.
The season opens in the historic church of St Peter, when acclaimed violinist Amy Huang plays Tchaikovsky’s glorious Violin Concerto in D major. In November, we welcome Martin Sturfalt to the Centenary Theatre stage to play Stenhammar’s Piano Concerto No 2. With the great works of Elgar, Sibelius, Rachmaninoff, Dvořák & Mahler ahead, this promises to be a concert season ablaze with symphonic colour!
Tickets can be booked online via the links on this website, and we encourage all concert-goers to join the Friends Friends of Bridgewater Sinfonia to enjoy a personalised season ticket, priority seating and a free interval glass of wine.
